Presentation Schedule

The schedule of these free lectures (~50 minutes not including questions) currently stands as listed below.  They are open to the public unless otherwise noted.  Some UCSF locations require the general public to stop at the guard stand and sign in as a visitor.  As you can see from the schedule of previous talks, we are in slow season with occasional library talks, but more UCSF talks will be scheduled for early 2015.  You can check this page for updates.

Due to a surge of interest after the recent Napa quake, I have scheduled three extra talks for the beginning of September. Please note that these three locations were chosen strategically within the limitations of a busy fall and I will be unable to schedule more UCSF extra talks before the end of 2014, but the typical cycle will resume in early 2015.

Upcoming talks:

Tue  9/2/14:
Wed  9/3/14:
Thu  9/4/14:
Sat  10/18/14:

UCSF Mission Bay, Smith Cardiovas Res Bldg Rm SC159, 3:00 pm
SF Public Library, Mission Bay Branch
, 6:30 pm
UCSF Parnassus, HSW303, 12:00 pm
SF Public Library, Marina Branch
, 1:00 pm

If you really want to see the talk and just cannot make any of these dates, streaming video from a UCTV broadcast of a lecture in February 2010 is available on demand.  However, it is still better to attend in person if possible, especially since the subject matter is becoming increasingly out of date.
